Kalumet started his musical career in 1993 as a bassplayer in a schoolband. After the band was splitted he founded together with friends a partypromoter and dj collective called "Alapzaj" which became a significant point in the underground techno scene of Budapest.

1998 Kalumet released his first track, a remix for the band Korai Öröm. Soon there followed more tracks on several compilations. At this time he concentrated his producing on high quality psychedelic music. In the year 2000 the dj-gigs and liveacts became more and Kalumet realized that making musical fusions is the most important thing for himself.

So Kalumet is not determinated, he always mixes and produces extreme different styles to create a unique and special groovy sound. Meantime. Kalumet can exhibit releases on Chi Recordings, Beef Records, MindSound Records and many more labels.
