Born in 1983, David Sjöö started his musical thread in life at 14 when he came across the simple sequencer Fasttracker II. 16 years old he found Docklands, an underground rave club in Stockholm and David became quickly affilated with the local underground scene.
Five years later he attended the famous audio engineering school ‘SAE’ for a few months, subsequent to which he studied visual arts for two years.
David experimented with nearly all types of subgenres within electronic music and with his project David Laake finally he arrived at his own take to the progressive sound.
